Wine characteristics and description
Chardonnay is a French variety that is located all over the world and is by its importance undoubtedly the first white variety of the world. It arrived in Styria in 1822. It shows most of its character while maturing in the wood. Sirius – named after the brightest star in the sky. It is a deeper golden colour. Aromas offer a medium-sized, wide range of scents that evoke white flowers, the freshness of apples and pears, butter and gentle notes of roast and vanilla. It has a dry taste, with butter texture and a lot of acid, which gives it a nice vertical component.
Food pairing: We serve it along with grilled fish with sauce, baked chicken with mushroom sauce or grilled scallops.
