Wine characteristics and description
Ribolla Gialla is the pride of the Gorizia Hills. It offers discreet roasted notes and the smell of yellow fruits. It is firm in the mouth, has longer length. Mostly, they produce simpler, everyday wines from Ribolla Gialla. Careful work in 25 to 35-year-old vineyards and the good selection of clusters at the harvest will allow Simčič to show the nobility of the wine. Ribolla Gialla will fascinate you with emphasized acidity, salinity and minerality which clean the mouth. After three to four years, and with the development of tertiary aromas, it will become even more coherent and remarkable than it was in its youth.
Maturation of wine is in slightly less new wood (15%-20%) than in the remaining wines from the cultivated line.
We offer it to fish and desserts that do not have too intense aromas. It is easy to drink, and it fits perfectly with salami from Gorizia Hills.
